DEMOLITION AT 1ST AND D STREET SET FOR MONDAY, AUGUST 21ST
Contractor has received State Demolition Permit approval
SALIDA, COLORADO — Demolition of the buildings located at 102 D Street and 233 E 1st Street will begin mid-morning on Monday, August 21st. JKS Industries, which has been on site abating asbestos in the buildings, has received approval from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment of the “State Demolition Permit”, with an approved start date of 8/21/2023.
D Street will be closed during the actual demolition of the buildings on Monday. Heavy truck traffic will be in the area as the contractor removes debris from the site, Tuesday through Friday. Please plan accordingly.
