Members of City Council work to set local policies and help find solutions to community issues and concerns. All City Council meetings are open to the public and most meetings also have time dedicated to public comment for community members to share their thoughts and provide feedback.

For nearly two years, the City has offered both in-person and online opportunities to participate in City Council meetings. Now there’s a new way to stay up-to-date on what’s being discussed and decided by your elected City leaders.

Residents and other community stakeholders are invited to sign up for a new email distribution list that will provide notifications about recent City Council actions. A few days after each Regular City Council meeting, typically scheduled for the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted), subscribers will receive a Council Wrap-Up email containing the highlights of the meeting along with a short overview of all the decisions City Council made. So, even if you can’t attend the meeting, you can subscribe to the new newsletter to stay informed of what was discussed.

This new email distribution list will not be sold or used for any other reason other than to provide subscribers a notification when the next City Council meeting is happening and a link to the agenda, as well as a wrap-up email of what was discussed at the most recent meeting. If you’d like to receive these notifications, visit the sign-up page.
