Live Christmas Tree Disposal

The City is offering a site for Salida residents to dispose of their live Christmas trees.  The disposal site will be at the multi-use facility property with the automatic gate located at 8551 W. Hwy 50 on the south side of the highway. This location is approximately ½ mile west of Walmart.  The site will be open from now through January 18th, weekdays, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.  We ask that you place the tree in the signed drop location and ensure all decorations, ornaments, tinsel, etc. are removed prior to disposal.
