The City of Salida and Chaffee County are soliciting proposals for a drainage and paving project at the Touber Building. The work generally consists of the installation of trench drain, ribbon gutter, rain gardens & asphalt paving.

As required by the National Environmental Policy Act and agency regulations, the Rural Utilities Service has prepared an Environmental Assessment that evaluated the potential environmental effects and consequences of the proposed waste water treatment facility upgrade. With the economic downturn, we have seen a decrease in building permit and current planning applications. This reprieve has allowed the staff of the Community Development Department a much needed opportunity to catch up on some long-range projects for the City.
