City Council and Planning Commission will be holding a joint work session on Monday, April 6th to discuss the Land Use Code Assessment recently prepared by Clarion Associates, who have been hired by the City to conduct the update to the Land Use Code. Below is a PDF of the assessment:
Among some of the policy areas to be discussed include: potential expansion of the types of housing allowed in the R-1 zone district; the potential consolidation of the R-3 and R-4 zone districts into one district and inclusion of manufactured housing; potential changes to parking requirements; updated procedures; and more.
Due to the current level Tier IV status of the COVID-19 Action Plan, all City offices are closed to the public; however, the work session will be available for viewing online via Channel 191 as well as the City of Salida YouTube channel.
