The City of Salida will be gathering input from downtown business owners and downtown residents through an online survey regarding patio seating in Downtown Salida. It is our hope that your participation will help create a better life for Salida residents and build the potential of our community.
In early June of 2015 the Salida City Council approved a revocable lease for a seasonal patio in Downtown Salida. The lease allowed for the use of the sidewalk and parking space adjacent to the business for the purpose of constructing, installing, and operating an outdoor space for food and beverage service. The cost of constructing the patio was paid by the business and the City collected a fee for the use of the space.

The survey will close at 12:00 p.m. on October 16, 2015. Results will be made available on the City’s website & presented to the City Council.
