The Second Annual Salida Fly-In returns this Saturday, June 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to Harriet Alexander Field, at 9255 CR 140. Don’t miss this exciting free event for the entire family. This year will feature 20 more planes than last year, which means there will be over 45 planes. Many of the planes are historic planes; there will also be military, experimental and other aircraft featured. The P-51 Mustang featured in last year’s fly-in will return this year as well as a Beechcraft Staggerwing.
The fly-in coincides with the 50th Anniversary of Harriet Alexander Field. There will be pancake breakfast in the morning and classic cars to marvel at, in addition to the planes that will be doing fly-bys and landing at the field.
