The Salida Creative District presents the second class in its Creative Mondays series on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 6:00-7:30pm at the SteamPlant Annex, 220 W. Sackett.
Lyle Latvala, Small Business Development Business Development (SBDC) Counselor and Cotopaxi High School teacher will lead an interactive discussion titled “Real World Steps to Make Your Creative Business More Successful.”
The series is free and open to the public. Each of the courses and discussions will be a way for local business owners, artists and entrepreneurs to learn valuable business and marketing skills in order to grow their own businesses. The series will be on the first Monday of each month, including dinner for all those who RSVP for the free class/discussion.

More on Lyle: Having been blessed with many gifts over the years, Lyle and his wife Karen have realized that it is time to contribute in an even larger way to the world. Using their expertise in small business management, finances, investments, personal life coaching, health products, photography, and alternative-home construction, The LYKAL Group was formed in 2000. Lyle currently teaches a college-credit course entitled ‘Starting Your Own Successful Business’ at Cotopaxi High School, owns his own Business Consulting firm, and is actively involved as a Counselor with the Small Business Development Center based at Western State College in Gunnison.
