The City of Salida will be accepting separate sealed bids for the 2012 General Water System Improvements Project which will provide several water system improvements for the City of Salida. The work includes sealing a leaking concrete water tank, removing and replacing a valve vault access hatch, removing and replacing a water tank access ladder and minor fill/grading at the water tank site.
There will be no pre-bid meeting. Contractors are encouraged to visit the project site(s). Arrangements can be made by contacting Mr. Lonnie Oversole, Water System Manager at 719.539.6721. Additional questions may be directed to SGM.
Bids will be received by the City of Salida Public Works Department, 340 West HWY 291, Salida, CO 81202 until 11:00 AM on Friday, March 9th at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud.
Electronic PDF construction documents are available to be sent via email at no cost. Hard copies (11×17) are available to be delivered FedEx after receipt of a non-refundable $25.00 fee and a FedEx account number.
