It is hard to believe but summer is officially here and the 4th of July Fireworks show is just around the corner. The Public Works Department will have Jones Street from New St to State St closed from 8:00 am on Tuesday June 21st to 5:00 pm on Wednesday June 22nd for work on a waterline. This waterline is part of the work being done to build the new high school. more »

The City’s independent accounting firm recently presented an unqualified or “clean” audit opinion on Salida’s 2010 financial statements.

The City of Salida will accept separate sealed bids at City Hall through 10:00 AM on July 15, 2011 for the upgrade of the regional wastewater treatment facility. At that time, such sealed bids will be opened and read aloud. City Hall is located at 448 E 1st Street, Suite 112.

The Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center will re-open Thursday, May 26 at 6 am for lap swim. The pool is full and the water is warm! We will open at noon for our FREE School’s Out Summer Kick-off party. Come join the fun.
