The Finance Department is responsible for water and sewer billing, accounts payable, and the financial management of the City’s assets including:

• Water and sewer billing
• Accounts payable
• General accounting system maintenance
• Expenditure certification
• Bill, invoice, and payroll approval
• Revenue collection
• Investment custody
• Personnel file maintenance
• Borrowing and repaying money for large projects

Water & Sewer Rates

• Septage receiving fees
  • Inside Chaffee County: $60.00 per 1000 gallons
  • Outside Chaffee County: $70.00 per 1000 gallons
  • Forest Service and Headwater Vaults: $60.00 per 1000 gallons
