Recreation Advisory Board

The City Council appoints members to the Recreation Advisory Board who shall act in an advisory capacity to the City Council on parks, trails, recreation and open space matters. The Salida Recreation Advisory Board’s mission is to objectively assist the City in evaluating and prioritizing the recreational needs of the community and to determine the best funding mechanisms for projects as needed. They meet monthly, contact the Recreation Manager for times and locations.

The City Council appoints five citizens and two alternates to serve on the advisory board.
