On Wednesday, September 6 and Thursday, September 7, the intersection of F Street and 1st (CO 291) will be shut down to through traffic during the day while crews dismantle the existing traffic lights. A full closure of the intersection, located in downtown Salida, is not scheduled until Monday, September 11, which will continue until the end of October.
TRAVEL AND ACCESS IMPACTS: While the old light signal is being removed, the public can expect a detour from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastbound traffic will use 2nd Street and westbound traffic will use Sackett. The area will be fully open to pedestrians.
