Salida Fire Collecting Donations For Fireworks Saturday, June 24

The City of Salida Fire Department will be out crisscrossing Salida streets in their fire apparatus this Saturday, June 24 beginning at 5:30 P.M. accepting donations to support the Independence Day fireworks display. The Salida Fire Department will also be at ArtWalk Saturday night to collect donations.  Please be aware that the fire truck sirens will be on and may startle children or pets. Also, if you are not home that evening, donations are welcome at the fire department at 124 E Street. Please consider a donation to make sure fireworks light up the sky for every 4th of July to come.

The July 4th fireworks display is scheduled for approximately 9:30 P.M. on July 4th, 2017.  There will be closures on Tenderfoot Mountain from July 3-5, 2017 for preparation and clean up for the event.  All firework products being used in the display this year are biodegradable.

Salida Fire thanks all in advance for their support of the Independence Day fireworks.
