The City of Salida will accept Proposals for the Riverside Park Playground Replacement Project. The project to include all labor and materials necessary to install the new playground.
Proposals will be received by the City of Salida at the Public Works Department 340 W. Hwy 291 Salida, CO 81201 until 11:00 AM, May 17, 2016. Proposals should include a rendering of the proposed playground and be titled “Riverside Park Playground Replacement Project”. A staff team and a member of the parks board will evaluate the proposals for the following criterion: visual appeal, number of features provided, appropriate age groups served, outdoor adventures theme common to our area, professional installation, quality of product, shade protection.
A non-mandatory guided walkthrough is offered on May 10, 2016 at 3:00PM at Riverside Park Playground.
A 5% Bid bond and Performance and Payment Bonds equaling 100% of the total project total will be required. The selected proposal must furnish a copy of liability insurance listing City of Salida as additionally insured.

The selected proposal will be approved by the Recreation Advisory Board (RAB) and will be acted upon by the Salida City Council at their next scheduled meeting following this date. The City of Salida reserves the right to decline any and all proposals.
