Sealed BIDS for construction of the Caldwell Avenue reconstruction project will be received at the City Public Works Building located at 340 W Highway 291, Salida, CO 81201 until 10:00 AM September 22, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
This includes new pavement, concrete valley plan and drainage improvement on Caldwell Avenue between Illinois Avenue and Highway 50.
A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid price is required. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the bid will be required.
The work shall be completed no later than November 7, 2014. The City reserves the right to reject any bids.
Copies of the Contract Documents may be examined at the City of Salida Public Works Building or at SGM’s offices at 225 East 2nd Street, Salida, CO (719-207-4340).
Copies of the Plans and Specifications will be available after Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained free of charge from Matt Hutson who can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
