Sealed proposals will be received at the Salida City Hall until 2:00 P.M. on September 18, 2012 to clean (sand), repair, prime and paint approx. 789 sf of cornice (eyebrow) and detail work of the Touber Building with a color to match SW-7676 (“Paper Lantern”). Contractor is to provide lift or scaffolding and all equipment, labor and materials and is responsible for clean up and trash removal. In addition, contractor will provide protective material to be used for the side of the building. Bids must be received at the following location in a sealed envelope marked with the bidder’s name and address and labeled, “PROPOSAL FOR TOUBER BUILDING CORNICE WORK 2012.”

At the above time and place, bids will be opened, read aloud and tabulated. Proposals will be acted upon by the County Commissioners and Salida City Council at their next regularly scheduled meetings. Bids must include a timeframe for project completion. Contractor must carry insurance and work must be warranted for a minimum of two years.
