Local Zumba Fitness teacher Amanda Wright will help to host a Zumbathon from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 28 at the Boys & Girls Club Auditorium to assist the City of Salida in the American Red Cross fundraising effort, which will help people affected by the many wildfires that occurred throughout the state this summer.
Zumba is a latin-inspired dance fitness party. All proceeds will go toward the American Red Cross fundraising effort. It should a great way to start your Saturday!
The City of Salida along with several local businesses have collected over $1,300 thus far toward the effort. Thanks go to High Country Bank, Elks Lodge, Amicas, Ploughboy, the Mixing Bowl, Chaffee County Public Health, Vicki Sue Vigil and Shallots for helping us collect monetary donations.
