Currently, a single family residential tap fee for water and sewer is $11,855 or $13,495 if the property is located in the “high zone.” Most lots west of Holman Avenue are in the high zone, but check with city staff to be sure. Rates will increase to $12,203 and $13,925 on January 1, 2011.
The costs to acquire a new tap include water resources, water plant investment, sewer system development and, depending upon the location of the property, a high zone development fees. Please refer to the Water and Tap Fees schedule for a complete listing of all categories of tap fees.
